What we collect

Email address — when you request the free field guide or join our email list, submitted through our contact form.
Purchase information — payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe shares your email and purchase details with us so we can deliver your products. Stripe's own privacy policy governs its processing: stripe.com/privacy.
Device storage — the program portal saves your module progress and assessment scores in your own browser's local storage. This data stays on your device; it is never transmitted to us.

How we use it

To deliver the products and free materials you request.
To send the email sequences you signed up for — sales education content and information about our products.
To respond when you email us.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing. Ever.

Service providers we use

Your data is handled by the following processors solely to operate this site: Formspree (form submissions), Mailchimp (email delivery), Stripe (payments), and Namecheap (hosting). Each maintains its own privacy and security practices.

Unsubscribing

Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. One click and you're out — no hoops, no "are you sure" sequence. Transactional emails (your purchase delivery) are sent regardless, because you paid for them.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing brian@whytheychooseyou.com. We'll act on the request within 30 days. Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under the CCPA), you may have additional statutory rights; we honor deletion and access requests from everyone regardless of location.

Cookies

This site does not run advertising or analytics trackers. The only browser storage used is the portal's local progress data described above, and whatever Stripe's checkout requires to process your payment securely.

Children

This site and its products are intended for adults and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
